I have been thinking about what my scale for commissions should be. Right now, the way I have it figured is thus:
(For one subject, no background)
Pencil sketch: $10.00
Ink: $20.00
Color: $40.00
You’ll note how the rate doubles from the base of $10.00. The reason why is that I earn that much per hour before taxes at my weekend job, and a pencil sketch on average takes me an hour from start to finish. Inked takes me two hours, color takes me four, etc. What do you think?
I got some. Double length page, six hours of work. Time well spent in my book.
Got this one up. Would have posted sooner, but life intervened. And by life, I mean GTA 5.
haven’t been updating for the last couple of weeks, and here’s the reason why: MY desktop took a shit on me, so I had to get everything moved over to my laptop. Pretty straightforward process, right?
Wrong.
It, for reasons that are beyond my understanding at the moment, has decided that it will not recognize external drives. Which made transferring over Page 21 a bit… problematic. Thankfully, I was able to work around that with the use of cloud storage, and get everything up and running.
Still a fucking pain in the ass, though.
